Okay, so I have completely dropped the ball with keeping up with the blog, but I HAVE been taking photos. We kinda got off track around Christmas when Ryan got a very important job interview and then left to visit his family in North Carolina. Due to unforeseen circumstances we missed 2 weeks of workouts. Then we found out that Ryan would have to leave to train for his new job (yes, he got the job! Yay!) a week before our actual 90 days is up. Soo, looks like I will have to finish up by myself. But I am going to take photos before he leaves (which will be like...day 80ish?) since I don't know who will be there to hold the camera on my REAL day 90.
Over the Christmas break I went shopping with my mom and sister and was VERY VERY excited when I tried on a size 6 jeans and they FIT! I am astounded, flabbergasted and otherwise SHOCKED that I managed this, even while eating some not-so good for me foods over the holidays. I cannot even recall the last time I wore a size lower than a 7. I am going to say maybe 9th grade? So I am now officially smaller than I was in high school over 10 years ago! Can you believe that?!? I sure can't!
I think Ryan has started to get a little bored of the same routine. He is now preferring the gym to working out to the DVDs and I have to really push him to get him to do them now. He still refuses to do yoga at all. So the end of this week will be the end of our p90x goal but definitely not the end of our fitness journey! We have learned so much and have never felt better (in between being sore!). I have already gotten 3 people I know to start p90x just by talking to them about my experiences. I am glad that I am in some way helping others get healthy and live a better lifestyle! I really hope the chain reaction doesn't stop there!
Now for our very very late 60 day photos!
DAY 60 RESULTS!
Heather keep it up I can see the change....i must confess towards the end i was getting a little bored too. I finished but now i have moved on to insanity and love the change...plus they run in the 45 minute range what a difference!! eventually i will return to p90x to keep up the muscle but for now im enjoying the 45 minute workouts:)
